Editorial standards
Curious Sports Network aims to make sporting ideas clear without making them sound more certain than they are. We explain the basis of a claim, distinguish fact from interpretation and correct material errors openly.
Accuracy and context
We check explanations against appropriate, reliable material and give context when a rule, term or format varies. We do not present a tactical reading as the only possible interpretation, or general commentary as official instruction. Readers should treat articles as explanations, not substitutes for the rules and decisions of a competition.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for reader interest and clarity. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise favourable coverage in return for payment, access or a placement.
Corrections
If an article contains a factual error, contact us through the Contact page with the title and a clear description of the issue. We review specific, relevant corrections and amend material when warranted; where a correction changes the meaning, we make that change clear.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or otherwise commercial material is identified clearly as partner content, and partner placements are distinguishable from editorial articles. Illustrations may be generated with AI; they are illustrative, not evidence of a real match, object or event. We do not use an illustration as proof for a factual claim.
A score is only one part of the game.
Know what to look for and a match becomes richer: not because every moment has a hidden meaning, but because you can see more of the choices at work.
